AAIP

WHAT IS AAIP?

The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program, also known as AAIP (formerly referred to as the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program), is designed to facilitate the permanent settlement of a diverse group of workers, graduates, and entrepreneurs in Alberta. Those who successfully qualify for the AAIP receive a provincial nomination certificate, enabling them and their eligible family members to apply for Canadian permanent residence through Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program encompasses eight distinct streams tailored to specific categories of individuals. For workers, there are four streams available: the Opportunity Stream, the Express Entry Stream, the Accelerated Tech Pathway, and the Rural Renewal Stream.
