MANITOBA PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM (MPNP)
WHAT IS THE MANITOBA PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM (MPNP)?
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program aims to attract skilled workers, business people, and their families to settle and contribute to the economic development of the province. It has several streams through which individuals can apply for nomination:
Skilled Worker Stream: For individuals with skills and work experience in occupations that are in demand in Manitoba
International Education Stream:For international graduates from Manitoba institutions with skills and training required by the province's labour market. There are three categories by which the stream selects candidates.
- The Career Pathway
- The Graduate Internship Pathway
- The International Student Entrepreneur Pilot (ISEP)
Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream:This stream is designed to attract skilled workers with experience in occupations that are in demand in the province of Manitoba, Canada. The stream allows Manitoba employers to nominate eligible foreign workers to fill specific job positions that cannot be filled by Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
Applicants who receive a nomination from the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program can then apply to the federal government for permanent residency in Canada. The nomination significantly increases their chances of being approved for permanent residency.
